    yeh but look at the k's on em. Most EP3's have about 40-65k's only. Plus performance wise there is a bees dick between em. But looks wise the S2k is a MUCH sexier car, the Civic is pretty much well, a civic with a kit lol. Still with some nice wheels and stance they can look great. yeh agreed, when it comes to the Type R engineering/parts/research, the fact that it is a 'civic' doesn't bother me in the slightest, if anything it's a good thing, people think it's going to be slow It actually feels quicker! More responsive compared to the 180. But then again I only had the standard t25g boosted to 10psi Wow, yeh I can understand about throttle response being a highly strung NA car, however I'm not sure they are quicker. Stock for stock i would say yes the Ep3 is probably quicker over 400m, but add a zorst, fmic and 12psi it's gg. I had an encounter with a DC5 a while back, he launched hard and ripped it through 1st and 2nd (i didn't even launch just took off normally not expecting to race, then he hit le vtakz so I went ah f**k it) om nom nom caught him up and passed going into third. That was with the t25g at 12psi as well (just full zorst). Still for daily driving they would be a great city car, hence the appeal. Check out this vid, shows the potential of the EP3, running low to mid 14's all day, prob has a few mods though who knows. It spanks a MPS3 and a r32 gtst. That doesnt sound right. The Gtst, okay 158kw 265nm maybe.. but the mazda 3 MPS is 190kw stock lol. unless the ep3r is modded like crazy, i highly doubt it.

    on my Ps lol and ive been told to wait, and buy a corolla or something. as mentioned above s2k is a 2 seater i need at least 4. thought about autech s15 then when i get opens drop a det in or rb25. but heard a lot of trash about the autech so thought about ep3 must test drive them all before i decide.

    my original plan was to buy an ek and do a k20a swap. but i seriously cant be bothered with the massive headf**k so i looked at other hondas the first one was s2k. but i realised there will definitely be a time where i have to drive more than 1 person LOL. so s2k is out of the question. i know though they are beast f20c engine revs like 9k 180+kw perfect for me, fast and sexy and also within price range but i cant deal with only having 2 seats.

    hell id love an ek9. too bad australia doesnt allow for it to be imported. only private import i saw an ad for one a few months back 24k but was very clean near perfect condition. well my budget is in the 20k area. o well.

    What do you guys think of the JDM Honda Civic Type R EP3. Worth the 20k? I know it does something like 158kw. revs like a beast. exterior design is a fail. upside stock recaro buckets seen the vid on youtube of top gear comparing the newer CTRs and they all say the ep3 is shitloads better especially in power to weight ratio and handling (independent rear suspension). some specs: Engine: DOHC i-Vtec K20a 2.0l 4 cyl Displacement: 1998cc Power: 215ps 212bph @8000rpm (158kw) 0-60mph 6.6s Torque: 202nm @7000rpm FWD Lsd gear box short throw shift Brakes: front-vent disc, rear-solid disc weight: 1210kg its a 2001 model preface lift. on sale for 21k carsales.   7. Hey guys im buying an autech nissan silvia soon and I have heard that it boasts 147kw. But some disagree and say it is piss weak blah blah. i dont care i like it and the silvia has so much potential.     Haven't thought about it tbh, I'm kinda planning to upgrade to a DET coupe once I'm on Opens next year, so I mayy just take it to the track once before selling it to a keen P-Plater Im a keen P-Plater. Got your opens yet? Im looking to buy.
